hahaha his defence is much better than what it used to be and he is better than any off the bulldogs halves.... end of story. Soward was very influential in the Dragons charge to glory. A lot of players were and Boyd was integral as well as was Hornby who I think was the most important but he couldnt have done it without Soward, nor Soward without Hornby. Also not to mention Morris and Cooper, Gasnier, Scott, Creagh, Weyman and Youngs contribution that year!

Halangahu was barely even a kicker in Union, christ he must of been the only bloke interested in this. Kurtley Beale was the kicker for them at the time. This is like a top 5 league kicker vs a guy thats not even top 50 in Union.

I'm not jealous of Jamie Soward one little bit, as a matter of fact, I wouldn't renew my membership if he ever went to the Dogs, Darius Boyd and Hornby won Dragons the 2010 GF, Soward did fuck all apart from kick goals. I'm sure Reynolds and Keating/Hodkinson (whoever we pick) will win us a comp in the not too distant future.

Umm a 3rd string tahs kicker nearly beat the premiers 1st string kicker........ hangers didnt actually take a single shot at goal all year. Someone like Barnes, Beale, O'Connor, Cipriani, Giteau, Cooper all would out kick soward tbh. It is one thing where union is better than league

Soward was one of the best kickers in the NRL for a long time,halangahu wasnt even a regular starter for most of his career,this is basically the same as putting sexton/biggar/Laidlaw up against someone like inglis or someone else that's pretty far down the ranks in their teams goal kickers
