I had the privilege of attending St. Hedwig Church growing up. What a beautiful awe-inspiring church it is. Thank God for the dedicated priests and nuns that shared the Catholic Faith and made the parish so great.

It IS such a beautiful church. Not only that, lucky you for being in that neighborhood--or, at least I'm assuming you were. As I walked around the block the day I filmed, it seemed like a family-friendly, tight-knit community. I can only imagine that it was even more so years ago. Have you been back there recently? Father John so warm and engaging--I'd like to attend one of his masses some day when I'm back in Chicago.
