St Ives Fishery a Glimpse of Shallow Pit

I used to fish this pit in 1984/85 long before there were any trees. Low double figure pike were our target though a year or two later it was turning out tench over 8lb. I wonder if the tench are still there???

There are tench still present I have caught a few myself stunning lake these days.

Whats the actual stock left in the shallow pit please

Not really sure, as everyone has a different answer but from what I gather about 35 to 40ish fish. I think they are adding a few more so there are a few coming through
