i have a question. i am very sensitive to criticism, but i look at places like st john's as places of growth. i want to toughen my own skin and develop my own ideas. would you suggest i still be cautious in applying?

But I think that'll be something you need to learn to overcome if you want to develop your ideas (I'm also very sensitive). Not easy, and it'll be uncomfortable but it's worth it. And I would say go ahead and apply, come and visit! It never hurts to apply!

Maryland 시중심 이긴 한데, 서울같은 도시는 아니고 아담한 town 이라 보면 되요. 교통도(물론 한국 도시와 비교는 안되지만) 편한편인거 같아요 7. 교환 학생 프로그램은 아쉽지만 없어요. 8. 있긴 하고, 장학금도 있어요. 대채로 만족도가 높은거로 알아요~

성적 만 보지않아요~ 높은 성적은 물론 도움이 되지만 주변 친구들 중 성적이 높지 않았던 친구들도 많이 있었어요.

@@rose.zhang. Yes :) I am a Junior in high school and very drawn to St. John's! I had a feeling what Liam was referring to regarding the administration was not too serious, but it's super useful to be aware of.

@@helenamarano2348 Usually I would say the administration is very helpful and supportive, but in some cases, they could be really slow in processing things, and the way they do things can be convoluted. But I think that's a common problem for administration in general.

@@helenamarano2348 i'm also a rising senior drawn to st john's! i come from a school with a very similar great books education, and i was rather afraid the administration was going to be "bureaucratic". i hope we don't experience the same thing.

I guess St. John's College is just a School Of Athens - a reading club of great books. Well, that's a haven for me.

What are the graduate students like? Do they have a presence on campus?

I haven't had a lot of chances to meet the graduate students (they do seem pretty cool!) and mainly because they have a smaller presence than the undergrad and more chill than us (especially since there are WAY LESS graduate students). But we do see them every now and then in some of the clubs and school wide events.

How religious is the school? The name St. John’s sounds Catholic or at least Episcopal, but there’s no mention of religion on the website.

Hi, we have different religious clubs on campus but the school itself is not religious!

@@user-lh2dw8du2o 비자는 한국에 있는 미국 대사관, 그리고 학교랑 문의해야될거 같아요~ 지금 미국에 본토 학생들도 코로나 때문에 학교로 못가고 종종 이유 때문에, 온라인 수업이지만, 가을 학기에는 아마 정상으로 회복될거 같아요.
