St. Joseph's Prep (PA) vs. Marietta (GA) Football - ESPN Broadcast Highlights

On August 30th no. 11 St. Joseph's Prep traveled to Georgia to play no. 9 Marietta as part of the GEICO High School Football Showcase.

The combo of ESPN #246 and Tennessee commit QB Harrison Bailey (249 yds, 2 TD, 1 INT) and ESPN #15 TE Arik Gilbert (6 rec, 117 yds, 1 TD) highlighted Marietta's offense with #193 and Tennessee commit DE/LB BJ Ojulari (4 TFL) spearheading the defense.
St. Joe's QB (ESPN 2021 #35, Ohio St commit) Kyle McCord threw for 219 yds, 2 TD and 1 INT.

A national team compensated and promoted should not be awarded two separate status. Was a joke competing with a hometown football program in P.A. state championship game with the competition having only kids from that district , while St.Joe is a national recruited program. Whole different ball game. Not fair to regular high school football programs. Need to correct this injustice for future.
