@@jamesr7846 okay? 1 compo pick in the top 10 of a already heavily compromised draft that they already hold pick 7 in. St kilda had a whinge all season about academy players but now they are singing about how generous and compassionate the afl is for giving them round 1 compo. All of a sudden no one else can be dissatisfied with the afl’s decisions?

He was offered enough to trigger compo, pretty simple.

@@Manwithoutplans The compensation wasn't a handout. It followed a criteria of length of contract and salary which evidently triggered band 1 compensation. Since St Kilda finished 7th, the pick comes right after that. It's concerning knowing there are fans out there demanding rule changes yet they can't understand simple free aganecy and draft pick criteria
