Hell Seattle had more fans in the stadium n viewers than the stallions ever had. Financially they will fail cause they can’t survive on one team alone,that’s why so many people got mad when they announced only 8 teams. And than the reports of them staying with only 8 teams for 2025 yeah sorry but the writing is on the wall

McCarron being banged-up was probably the difference here. The Battlehawks ran it, ran it, and then ran it some more until late in the fourth when they had no choice. The defense usually gets bailed out by the offense, but the opposite needed to be true today, and it just never happened. One scoop-and-score doesn't change the fact that they just got RUN OVER that entire second half!

I mean, all the most successful teams are in small(ish) markets that DONT have NFL teams. St. Louis, Birmingham, and San Antonio. There’s a reason nobody shows up to Memphis/Houston/Arlington games. They see so much football in October-January that they just don’t care.

@sectorz1019 I get it. I do. Filled seats equal revenue, but are you counting attendance as the only determining factor when it comes to the leagues success ? Because I can honestly say that for this being a " new " league, it's holding its own. Of course, the stadiums aren't going to be 90% full or even 50%full. Yeah, the names aren't household, certain rules seem funny, and there's obvious signs and areas of improvement, but that's what it's all about... Growth ! The level of competition is already there. All year, we've had good ball from the UFL, and I'm not referring just to the Championship/Divisional games. I've seen a lot of great ball, even from Arlington ! With the right planning and execution during the off season; the UFL could and can be here for years to come, and I'm here for all of it ! Just give it time

The decision making has been terrible,some of these teams are just straight up terrible. And think of it like this would you wanna play in a stadium that has hardly ANY fans there to watch? To me that would be disheartening to see that, and embarrassing af no one wanting to see you play. The locations they’ve picked suck badly and should’ve been placed somewhere else,they have three Texas based teams , 40% of the league is Texas based. They should’ve called it the Texas football league instead

@sectorz1019 For some of these cats, a lot of them, it's an opportunity to play for and make an NFL roster. It's a dream for some to continue to play ball after college, whether it's semi pro or not. Some might even know they're not good enough to make an NFL team but actually love the game enough to keep playing. So do I think that's disheartening or embarrassing, no ? Not at all. I can't knock another grind towards their dream, and I'm a firm believer in growth and taking the right steps. This is just another set of steps for some of them players. I agree with the 3 Texas teams. 2 aren't needed and should be elsewhere, but it's also about travel and availability. So, the major cities might not be the best of locations due to availability and pricing. With this league not having individual owners, it hurts the league significantly with venues and traveling expenses. The 50/50 split sounds nice, but it's also a crippling effect because someone is ultimately holding someone back, and I don't think it's the XFL's end either !

At 76 years old Wade Philips outcoached the entire St. Louis staff. Gradkowski put McCarron in some tough situations. A few plays with Manny Wilkins might have made a difference?

I questioned early on how Anthony Becht became a head coach straight out of the broadcast booth, and his lack or experience/qualifications finally caught up with him. Not going for the field goal and onside play late was beyond bone headed.

Too many cute trick plays and RPO's with a banged up AJ cost the game. Never got in rhythm from it and only the defense kept the game close. Just a damn shame for a stacked offense.

Battlehawks offense was way too conservative in the first half. Too many run plays resulting in several three-and-outs that they were unable to recover from. Otherwise a great season for them...looking forward to the Championship game next week!

Tbh I think it was brahmas just better at coaching. You guys coaches really hold back AJ a lot and have a bunch of designed plays that are just check downs if Hakeem isn’t wide open down the field. All brahmas had to do was lock him up best they could and run clock on offense the whole game. Brahmas coach just simply knew what he was doing.

Was really rooting for the Battlehawks to win this one with how much love St. Louis shows their team, but the Brahmas proved they are for real and are still the only team that has defeated the Stallions so they without a doubt deservedly earned their ticket to the UFL Championship. I don't know how the NFL hasn't embraced the spring football method of officiating. I would MUCH rather be a UFL ref than an NFL ref because the league is looking out for me and helping me get the call right and watching my back when I can't see everything or don't get it right. I hate seeing a team beat itself. Two initial drops set the tone and then sloppy play and dumb penalties. Like Martinez Saturday, McCarron didn't have it this time. Unlike the Stallions, the Battlehawks didn't send in a new QB to right the ship. They needed more mobility against the Brahmas and McCarron isn't very mobile when he's healthy. Worse, they have Manny Wilkins and left him to watch it implode from the sideline. If not for the defense there wouldn't have been much -fense at all. Congratulations to the Brahmas. They plays hard and clean. Even Santoso stepped up after missing five in a row. Being the only team to beat the Stallions this season, the Championship should be pretty good.

McCarron being injured definitely changed the game. Given how close it was until the end, one can only wonder… but he wasn’t exactly producing before that. The defense had scored as many points as the offense most of the game.
