This explains why there are so many burned out buildings when driving through St Louis.
@trvman13 жыл бұрын
From the time you see both ladders, it was 12 minutes before you see a second ladder stream on the fire. Who knows if this was edited it very well may have been longer then that.

St. Louis F.D. sure does like to burn stuff down. I haven’t seen them save a structure or even attempt an interior attack yet.

It was a Training Exercise and they all got an 'F' on the Test.

A couple 2 1/2" hand lines or an engine deck gun could have sure been lobbing water while they got the sticks in the air. Looks like they finally got one in operation several minutes in.

Why do they always go with them exterior attack versus an interior? I think they gotta go take training from the FDNY
@SparkUnknown3 жыл бұрын
The reason is to prevent any firefighters from getting hurt. At any point in time the roof could collapse causing those inside to get seriously injured or some to even die. the FDNY has more high rise buildings and such and thus they cannot do exterior fire attacks due to the height of the buildings, which some ladder trucks wouldn’t be able to reach nor the master stream.
@SparkUnknown3 жыл бұрын
@Jamie W even though it may be vacant you still have spotters and hobos and crap that still have the possibility of being inside. If the building is deemed unsafe to enter, they aren’t gonna go in anyway. If it is deemed safe and nothing leads to a sign of structural collapse, they will still search JUST in case

Ladder truck should of been in operation once it arrived on scene! I see all these videos where ladder trucks are not put into operation first due engine and ladder should go to work asap! Second due engine feeds ladder and sub engines should go for the windows and other things

Looks like St. Louis F.D. is saving one basement at a time. Please have the P. D. shoot out the windows with bean bag rounds so straight streams can get at the fire from underneath. Damn.
