St Michael | Sept 29 | Patron of The Church, Police Officers, Military Personnel & Dangerous Workers

St. Michael is best known as the archangel who led the charge against Satan in the book of Revelation and helped kick him and the fallen angels out of heaven. He is a great saint to call on in times of temptation or trouble and the St Michael prayer is recommended to be prayed by all. His feast day is celebrated every year on Sept 29th along with the other archangels Sts Raphael and Gabriel. St Michael is the patron saint of the Church, Police Officers, Military Personnel & those working in dangerous conditions. St Michael, pray for us, defend us battle! For those of you who don't know the St Michael prayer, I've included it below.
St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil. May God rebuke him we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the Heavenly host, by the power of God, cast into hell Satan and all the evil spirits who prowl about the world seeking the ruin of souls. Amen.
