Oh holy Saint Michael please defend me from my enemies, please help me to stay on my path to Jesus. I am so unworthy of Heavens help but as I wish to repent and stay steadfast on a path of righteousness please defend me from all thoes who wish me, my sould and my faith in God to be undone and fall I implore thee Dear Saint Michael help me and all thoes whom I love, and I ask this through the most Holy Name of Jesus my Savior, Amen

You sound like a present day St Francis! As well as St Patrick who struggled with his faith in his youth and then was DRAWN through visions and dreams to his holy mission! This is what seems to be happening to you. May these powerful Saints guide and help you as you follow Christ’s mission to “rebuild His Church” in Ireland and ultimately Europe and the world I pray!Please pray for the USA which is a cesspool of filth starting from the government and even within many Churches! @@juliepires1069 well im not struggling with my faith but at work there are 3 people who are meth users and it takes alot not to react to their insanity, they are quite manipulating, they like demonic things, and it's hard working in that environment so I was praying for protection from them. Lol, I also bought a Our lady help of Christians Holy medal. It seems like the whole world is on a lover of self and lover of the things of this world path.

8:07 When do we invoke St Michael in the confiteor? Isnt that the "Act of Contrition" Am I getting the prayers confused?

This is the literal translation of the Confeitor that we profess in the TLM: (taken from Baltimore Catechism) "I confess to Almighty God, to blessed Mary, ever Virgin, to blessed Michael the Archangel, to blessed John the Baptist, to the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and to all the Saints, that I have sinned exceedingly in thought, word and deed, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault. Therefore, I beseech blessed Mary, ever Virgin, blessed Michael the Archangel, blessed John the Baptist, the holy Apostles Peter and Paul, and all the Saints, to pray to the Lord our God for me. May the Almighty God have mercy on me, and forgive me my sins, and bring me to everlasting life. Amen. May the Almighty and merciful Lord grant me pardon, absolution, and remission of all my sins. Ya, so much has been stripped away, I remember the old prayer and nowadays they don't even include this right of penitential act, they claim there are three and the confetior isn't important, but through this prayer our venial sins are forgiven during mass

This priest is seriously mistaken when he says that St. Michael protects the Jews because of the Old Covenant. That has never been the teaching of the Catholic Church. Jesus fulfilled the Old Covenant, and now there are neither Jews nor Gentiles; all must accept Christ in order to be saved. Jews can't continue to reject Christ and even persecute Christians but get a free pass into heaven.

When he said both, he meant first the Jews in the old covenant then the Christians in the new. Not both now.

@@cricket9906 Oh. Thank you for clarifying this. Unfortunately, this fallacy, if not heresy, is commonplace now in our Church, that the Jews still have the Old Covenant. I am glad that this priest wasn't asserting this, and I appreciate your clarifying it.

They do teach speech communication in seminary. But what seems to be lacking is for parents to teach their children manners.

@@MisterMonsieur A lot of people both young and old listen to his sermons. Young people are interested in sincerity rather than gimmicks. For those who need more theatrics there are timeless sermons on youtube by people like Fulton Sheen, and there are many great spoken orators on this youtube channel. However, if you are so concerned for the young to get the message you are welcome to make some videos of the utmost quality. It's not a competition after all.

How about you put your pride aside and just admit that this sermon, while fruitful on paper, is delivered with such little passion or energy that it calls into question the sincerity that you insist is there. The man sounds like he's reading out of obligation, not out of genuine care for my soul. It's why Fulton Sheen and Billy Graham have WAY more views than these sermons. "Theatrics". Pfft.

@@MisterMonsieur "Mere" theatrics, no. "Theatrics" without the "mere", yes. The word "theatrics" is not insulting since it refers, by definition, to dramatic performance - something that Ven Fulton Sheen was an expert in and would not claim otherwise. The man, who I believe to be a saint, cared deeply for souls. This kind Friar also cares for souls. Those who wish to benefit from his wisdom will listen.
