Awesome Irish Dancing including members of Riverdance and school children in spectacular Central Station Sydney. Over 100 dancers spread St Patricks Day cheer in Sydney. Organised and coordinated by Tourism Ireland & Jason Oremus, Chris Naish and the Sneaky Steppers crew

I am from belfast and thought this was fantastic reading through the comments i was a bit disappointed with some of the comments.Let me assure you that in recent years it has become very popular for the protestant and unionist population here to send their children to irish dancing class and they still protestant and unionist and very very welcome, it's their culture too.

I was actually living in Sydney when this happened but I always went to Melbourne for St Patrick's Day, so I missed this. Now that I'm back home in Ireland I realise that Australia actually does St Paddy's day much better than Ireland does. There's far more people in the pubs in Oz & better events organised for the evening time.
