This is wonderful! Thank you so much. Clear and simple. The vibrant graphics, the counting in of each section...I teach all special needs students, and you have all the right prompting for them to be able to be successful!

Thank you! When we first started to work with your videos we had to stop and prep each rhythm before we clapped along with you on the screen. Now we can read and clap with the screen right away and instead we stop after each rhythm to add the professional counting! Thank you for this gift to all of us! With gratitude and Love 🥰

I'm a tech-challenged elementary music teacher. My mother is a professional opera singer. As I was preparing a lesson using one of your videos she visited and watched you on the monitor over my shoulder. She said, "He's a very good conductor. And he really looks like he's enjoying himself, too....the kids need to see that their teacher loves music, or they won't see the value."

Thank you so much for another outstanding percussion play along. A spring theme with birds and flowers for April would be like a lovely breath of fresh air.

GREAT Fun! Your play alongs are FABULOUS! Used in Elementary and Middle School with Success. Easy to transition to written notation since "symbols" in video are so similar with stems/beams, etc. THANK YOU!
@ElementaryGrooveTracks3 жыл бұрын
Thanks Mr. Gibson! It’s my exact intent to make the symbols as close to notation as possible to make that transition easy. I hope to create Deja vu moments where students see rhythms and instinctively know them with out realizing why. “That looks like the ‘pot o’ gold’ rhythm, why do I know how to play this?”
@monagoetsch50633 жыл бұрын
My students look forward to your play alongs. My Kindergarten students are demanding the advanced version! Thank you for your fun and educational videos!
@ElementaryGrooveTracks3 жыл бұрын
Hahaha! That’s amazing! You are very welcome. I’ve got a rockstar 3rd grade class that nailed the advanced version, however, unfortunately for your kinders, I wouldn’t suggest the advanced version for lower that 3rd grade unless you have some rockstar rhythm readers.

I really love how you say the rhythms with the students. A lot of these clap along videos don't do that. Their rhythms don't go with the music at all. For virtual learning this year--your videos are perfect! A true blessing to us tech -challenged teachers! They are fun and bright!
@ElementaryGrooveTracks3 жыл бұрын
@@dewingmusic Thanks Gayle. I am meticulous about making sure that the rhythm "feels right" with each part of the music. I've been know to swap rhythms and slides because it didn't feel musical and match the music of that section.
