Paul was going contrary to Scripture. If he was, then why would he use OT scripture as his witness? Would someone who studied the OT go against it? Would someone who was zealous for the Law go against it? Far be it from the truth. Jesus himself said that I have not come to abolish the Law but to fulfill it. And this is what Paul is speaking of. Jesus did not set aside the law as though it was of no importance, rather he did what NO HUMAN can ever do, which is to please God. Paul didn't change the teaching of Jesus. In fact, Paul said, "Through Him we live" (1 Corinthians 8 :6). So according to Paul, without Jesus we don't exist including Muhammad and Paul himself. Does the Quran follow the God of Abraham? Quran says in verse 37:107 it uses 3 words: Fadaynah B'zhabh and Azeem. There are 2 words for slaughter. One word for concession or exchange. One specifically was for the son of Abraham-B'zhabh. But then there is another word that means great or grave slaughter-Azeem so what in the world is greater than a human son sacrifice? The Quran has no answer for this fundamental question. You have to know what the Bible says to understand the half truths in the Quran. Since both slaughters were in the same sentence, what is greater than a human son sacrifice? A God Son sacrifice. Not only did God sacrifice his Son but also a part of himself. That is why Jesus is both Son and God and it is a holy sacrifice.
