Sir, you are doing a commendable job! This took me deep into my memory lanes, seeing the anxious excitement of the boys waiting on their going home day. I could picture the boys from back in my years waiting on the same spots where these boys are waiting. I was a Paulite till the 6th standard back in '06. The gloomy atmosphere of the hills with the jittery vibe of eagerness and finally seeing a familiar face in the distance coming to take you home..ah, i think i have a tear in my eye. It's been too long! Thank you for this video!

Attended the school between 1990 and 1995. The standards have definitely fallen. The infrastructure is a conspicuous mess. And the boys can barely speak English. No wonder it no longer has the reputation it once had. Back in my day this school was in the same league as Doon, Mayo and Sanawar. Look at the difference in the present.

@@ccirwashere I am sorry if my comments have hurted anyone's feeling. I had no ill intention. I's just looking for a boarding school for my son. Came here in hope of those kids I see on social media versing some really good english. St. Paul has a great fame. Perhaps the community is changed, more international schools have showed up in recent decades. Please do not mind nothing personal here and it was a great video.

@@devdtt23 hi sir first of all I am not hurt. I know my students here in St. Paul’s School. Most of them are new who are learning to speak better English as they come from various medium. Over time when they reach 12 standard they can speak good English. So kindly don’t judge them right now, it takes time to learn to speak good English. No child can speak good English in just a year. This can be true for your son as well, so if you bring him here he will speak better in few years or if he is already good in English then he will help his mates. That’s how we learn to be a gentleman here. It’s not just spoken English sir. And lastly with due respect sir: the past tense of hurt is not hurted. Such a word doesn’t exist. So dear sir this is how we teach our kids here. We don’t humiliate them we teach them with love because even we teachers accept that we are not all perfect.

@@ccirwashere good to know your efforts, we don't live in a situation where we speak and right english everyday like you all. That's the reason I'm looking for a school where my child can learn english like we see in big city schools. If someone like me who seldomly use english speaks or writes wrong that can be related but if someone from institute makes that's a big thing. I hope you understand. That being said, if my niece studying in London reads our comments she wil definitely find some mistakes in both of us.

@@devdtt23 totally agreed. As I said no one is perfect even the ones in the big city schools as you mentioned. However we must encourage the one who is at least trying to speak English especially the ones who are from Bihar or such non English speaking family lineage. So let’s encourage this little boys who are trying. Trust me sir by the time they graduate they become good boys both in language and in personality. So let’s have some patience as they learn, after all even we had to grow through this. Thank you for your encouragement and not being abusive like many KZbin commenters.
