St Phillips' Heat opens an NYPD event at The St George Theatre, Staten Island, 4/18/19

NYPD's 'My School Has Rhythm, Not Violence' finale, a competition among borough students. The Heat were here as performers, not competitors, as part of the NYPD's Community Outreach program - displaying what this wonderful non-profit can do with kids and young adults with little or no musical ability before joining this free Port Richmond, Staten Island-based group. We will be building upon these songs, adding new arrangements, instrumentation and repertoire as the season progresses. We are always looking for new members, musical ability or ownership of an instrument not required. This is a free program, all you need to bring is your passion. 93 Park Ave, Staten Island, NY 10302 every Thursday 5-8PM and Saturday 9AM-noon. Donations are always welcome!
