Through God's graces I was able to travel and do a pilgrimage to Lisieux in Oct 2022, and was able to go to the Basilica dedicated to her and see her relics and remains! God is good!

I often ask for the Grace to love Jesus as Mother Mary does, and to love my neighbor as Jesus does... sometimes it is very hard.

I watched the 2004 film Therese recently and can't recommend it highly enough. A statue of her watches over me at my desk. I'm starting Story of a Soul this afternoon. I love St. Therese!

So beautiful. St Therese of the child Jesus, pray for us! Thank you, Father. I have a pivotal memory of a time where I did something that I care not to recount in specifics, but in God's mercy and grace I was completely spared from every repercussion that was due to me from that incident. His mercy does in fact carry me in ways I am unaware of, and it is by grace that any of us are not immediately in the pit by our own doing.

I simply do not have the same problem that St. Therese had. I"m more a magdalenista in gratitude.

I heard a good, good man say what a wretched soul he was. He had been saved and changed through Our Lord's grace and he knew that. I am that wretched soul also, having committed so many sins myself. When I hear this I realize how many I have been preserved from.

Jesus, hear my prayers these past three years have been difficult on me I am weak. Give me guidance. Please come back soon I don’t know how much longer I can hold on. As a single parent things are hard on me both of my sons are autistic and my hours to work are limited because I’m now homeschooling them. I’m constantly struggling to provide the basic necessities for them I’m so ashamed. I suffered an heart attack and I’m battling lupus I’m overwhelmed. Father God hear my prayers. I constantly struggle to pay my bills and struggle to provide groceries. BUT I KEEP FAITH. Even though I want to give up. Jesus please take the fear from my heart. Father God it is you that gives me the strength to keep going. I praise you Father even as I fear homelessness please continue to give me strength.

And ye shall seek me, and find me, when ye shall search for me with all your heart. Jeremiah 29:13 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be Matthew 7:7-8 May the Lord our God bless you with the desires of your heart☦️ May his mother the one and only Virgin Mary be with you always☦️ May the Holy Spirit keep you and protect you and your loved ones forever☦️ Amen.

@TiffMiller1234 Hang on dear sister, hang on. God is with you. He will never leave you. I prayed for you and know you will see His blessing multiplying in you life and in that of your sons.. The bible verse that came to mind for you is Lk 6:28..."Give and gifts will be given to you; a good measure, packed together, shaken down, and overflowing, will be poured into your lap. For the measure with which you measure will in return be measured out to you.”

Father Columba Jordan, thank you for this video. I have contemplated the same thoughts that St.Therese had about loving Jesus without having been forgiven for a big sin. And as I reflect on my past, I can see His love preserving me from so many things. Having been homeless and coming out of it without falling into an addiction; having been protected from people who might have wanted to harm me while I was walking the streets during the COVID shutdown; having been preserved from toxic places and people. There are so many examples that I can give, I now see how much He loves me. Thank you, Father Columba, for this great insight.

Amazing teaching , I learned this when I was in prison. I looked down on those who's crimes were sicker than mine. One day God showed me that for some reason ( education, family, environment) or the grace of God , I didn't let my vices go as far as others but I have the capability to be just like the ones I looked down upon. 🤔 We all have the Deadly Sins to one degree or another. Ever since then I have really been sensitive to those struggling with things I don't struggle with.

So I've been jogging daily and I'm not sure when I started doing the Rosary, but I started asking for Saints to pray for my wife and our marriage and my children. I didn't know much about Saint Therese, but I started seeing references to her regularly.. more recently, I've been seeing references to lilies and roses. I also have a connection to Saint Anthony of Padua.

His point is the similarity between being forgiven of sins and being preserved from sin. I’d suggest you watch it again.
