These guys are amazing. I used to go to this school in Houston (St. Thomas) and would watch them march up and down the parking lot every day practicing. I really miss it now. I didn't really appreciate it then. I did the highland dancing and performed with the whole school at their big Spring Festival with the band and the dancers. It was really an amazing experience. These guys exceed excellence in my opinion!

Love it. Learned this 10 years ago at the SPSL. Wonderful tune, well played, and nice with the accompaniment.

Agreed that "This is NOT piobaireachd, but rather a slow air." BUT it's a lovely tune and perfect to end my funeral, sometime in the future. After this, they swig whiskey from a communal bottle, toss it into the grave and go home to a noisy wake (more booze and music from my favourite pop tunes list). Yes, I'm a bit of a control freak!

You might wish take that up with The Piobaireachd Society given it is in their Book 9. While you are there you might also want to inform them that Douglas Murray won the 2014 Gold Medal at the Northern Meeting with this 'slow air'.
