He still got it R.I.P Stanley you really deserved that Tony And Oscar for that role

You are so right, Zack. He didn't miss a step or a note from his previous performances. And he definitely deserved the Tony and the Oscar which he did not receive.

THAT is what show business was like. Massively skilled main performers who threw themselves into the act and an equally skilled, singing and dancing cast which totally matched the lead act because THEY strove to be lead acts too. It's all gone down the bloody tubes. Who've we got now? Ed bloody Shearden .. multi millionaire, musical impostor and failure.

Now I am not sure if these dancers know just what they are a part of here. They are recreating theatrical history with a man who played this role on Broadway, at West End and in the movie. This is undoubtedly the last times Holloway performed these particular numbers on a stage. His stage career ran from 1919 in Kissing Time through to the late 80's.

We knew !! I was one of the dancer /singers. I was thrilled.

@@kennyrory100 There is another vid out there where Angela Lansbury and Carol Channing in their late 70's, are singing to showstopper numbers of Hello Dolly, and Mame, with a group of male dancers for a celebration of Jerry Herman Those dancers will be the only ones alive or dead to be part of both Lansbury's and Channings last performances on a stage of their signature songs. Any knowledgeable dancer would give up all their organs to say that they did that.
