Good question as my mates 25 year old stabi needed welding 3 years ago because a weld had cracked between the hull and water filling up the pontoon when out on the water. We had to get it welded up and had to put extra vent holes in the pontoon so air could be blown through while welding. I would say good idea for foam but if it needs repairs the pontoon will need to be opened up and foam removed before welding. Maybe stabi can comment on this topic.

The baffling part is the price, I can't see anyone buying a stab around here for yonks. Just way too dear. Nice boats but.

so 20 years of marketing lies and now we admit that foam doesn’t flow like air and can’t be displaced by water, and finally add industry standard safety to your boats everyone else has had for decades. Progress of a sort. Can we work on the cracking now.
