I think that in a game where we pay base price to play, pay extra for horses which are the main thing of the game, pay for pets, pay for some tack even though some can be purchased for shillings, pay for horse care and most likely will pay for the battle pass in the future... having another feature in the game that the only goal is to pay again to obtain is quite predatory. The moorland theme could have easily been unlocked with in game missions, or even use the plants around the map to craft the different woods, maybe add stones to the map too for those... even if it was just to unlock like 5 colors out of 10, it would still be better than locking everything behind a pay wall. Other games have in game activities for players to unlock customizations and are successful. Looking at Genshin Impact, you can customize a whole tea pot world without opening your wallet and its a completely free to play game, no base entry price. Players spend money on acquiring the characters much as we do in SSO to acquire horses, but thats pretty much it, everything else is free to play, but somehow Genshin Impact makes a lot of money and its been cashing millions while SSO puts everything behind a paywall and its been struggling for at least the past 2 years... Im still quite disappointed that the Hollow woods update, where we have to grind to unlock items and tacks, still includes shillings and sc price on top, even after you unlock the shops. You are telling me that after weeks, not hours or days, weeks of running around collecting lights and doing rune games, we cant even be given some free tack? We need more "free" stuff in game that can be directly obtained via missions or goals before players say enough is enough and stop opening their wallets completely

Apart from the absolutely blood-boiling fact that their game is over-pricey for the content the players get, I just cannot get over that they named wyverns dragons. And then from what I gathered, they had a raja-looking pet named Wiwerny. What is going on in their head? Do I wanna know at this point?

I still remeber being able to buy 5000 star coins form my pocket money and still having money to buy other stuff now a days the pocket money I had wouldn't even be enough buy them. I Honesty don't even want to play anymore but I spend so much money on it including lifetime star rider that throwing it away also feels wrong.
