How can i make sure my laptop is using my DGPU , not the igpu , even though my 8Gig vram is being fully utilized , i think my cpu is doing the work , cuz when i open task managwe performnace tab , the 2d and 3d stats are 0 percent

Depends on what UI are using for example forge and comfy UI has better memory management in my opinion than a1111, and for me works faster but forge also have a few bugs at the moment so i am using comfy UI. Not sure what you can try only if you find some arguments like --lowvram and similar to put in the bat file

Not sure, all i known that some UI works faster than others. Here are some advice from chatgpt maybe it helps to get in right direction: To ensure the discrete GPU (dGPU) is being used instead of the integrated GPU (iGPU) on a laptop, here are the correct steps and clarifications: 1. Windows Graphics Settings: You can manually choose which GPU to use for specific applications. Go to Settings > System > Display > Graphics settings. Add the application you want to run (like ComfyUI or Stable Diffusion). Once added, click on the app, select Options, and choose High performance, which forces the system to use the discrete GPU. 2. NVIDIA Control Panel (if you have an NVIDIA GPU): Open the NVIDIA Control Panel. Go to Manage 3D Settings. Under Program Settings, choose the specific application (e.g., ComfyUI or Python if you're using Stable Diffusion through it) and set it to use the High-performance NVIDIA processor. 3. Task Manager Monitoring: In Task Manager, the performance tab might not always clearly show which GPU is doing the work. @pixaroma thank u for puting the time and effort to respond , i apriciate it Even though i already tried chat gpt , and yes it told me to configure the app to use High performance nvidia gpu , but the thing is u cannot find the sd in the list to configure it to that mode , but that python u told might be the way to do it

How did you get your images to save with names mine is only a set of numbers

go to settings, click on Saving images/grids, where it says [wiki] Images filename pattern there you can define how you want your pattern, if you click on wiki you can see what names you can use . I have there [seed],[prompt] then you click apply settings and reload UI

Yeah i noticed that need restart to the stable diffusion after using that model. That is good for those who can not run fast enough normal Sdxl models
