I think OnePlus is known for their Simplicity and Orginality. After the merge with Colour Os it feels kinda heartbreaking for the Og old users who felt that grief that Oxygen Os isn't the same as it used to be. The device feels more likely to be an Oppo device. But really miss those good old days with user experience we had with Oxygen OS, really wish that Oxygen Os gets back the same as it was but we all know that change is the part of life. We should learn to accept the fact that the things we love often disappoint us sometimes but we love anyway afterall.✨

umm, tried oxygen os 12 after much peer pressure for testing 5g speed on my 8T, next day had oxygenos 13 waiting to be installed. Did that and it was pretty much the worst mistake of my life. Downgrading to 12 and then to 11 , restoring all backup(in zip format and then unzipping) took me 4 hours. I m in no way saying that oos13 is bad, its just after oos11 there isn't ONEPLUS in oxygen os anymore, its Oppo, the icons, the extra features which others might find useful , i personally felt i was making my 40k INR phone feel like a 20-25k one. Sticking to oos 11 at the expense of no 5G. but its so worth it. EDIT: just went through the comments and found people thinking the same. ONEPLUS's decision was the worst, idc for whatever the F reason they did it, it sucks so bad.

It's Oxygen OS 11 vs Color OS 13. As a OnePlus fan boy, I still remember when OnePlus used to be light, fast and stable OS. For my OnePlus 7t I've left color os 12 and went with Crdroid 9. It's been amazing fast, light and stable but it doesn't have the same class as Oxygen OS. RIP Oxygen OS. You will be missed dearly.

I am surprised no one noticed this bug yet, on OOS 13 9RT when you capture 4K videos the colors looks fine and normal on OnePlus gallery app, but when watch that video on Google Photos or Google files the video colors looks oversaturated, i thought it must be Google bug or something, then i uploaded the video on youtube to see actual colors, i was surprised that the colors are looking oversaturated. Then i watch the video on PC with KMPlayer the colors were looking normal, then i watched the video on Windows Movies & TV app, and it looked oversaturated like google.

After soo many updates i can finally say my oneplus 8 camera has improved soo much after this update that it feels completely different camera hardware

I couldn't agree more for the gaming performance. Ever since oos12/13. The gaming performance is horrendous and the cpu usage goes whack and the gpu usage becomes alot lower.

I downgraded mine from ColorOS 13 to OxygenOS 11 because that's the only OG OxygenOS. I did not buy this phone to become an OPPO user.

Can u still connect to a wifi without data and stay connected while having the phone data turn on? This was a feature on the 11 but noticed that this feature doesnt work on oxygenOS 12. It always disconnect or reconnect to a better wifi. Does it work on the 13?

os 11 had the power & classy outlook to its UI .. while 13 is a hollow jar with just designs and articulation out of it , but it lacks the material what 11 had on offer for its users , that provided ease , simplicity , standing out in the mass , yes it lacked optimization for better battery life. but , it could take all that was thrown at it without hesitation. what Camera performance it had , now its worse. os 11 . Os12 had better battery backup. Now if I quantum everything , an update means an improvement. While 1+ updates are nothing but ruining handsets with software updates & hardwares tooo now. If battery optimization was not the focus , why did 1+ even fixed it in os12 & why even Os12 came if nothing from 12 was good to be kept in 13. & the worst part, all phones are badged 1+ but , it only few users able to downgrade to 11 or 12 , while I had always need to visit a service centre to get the rollback. eventually I feel like cursing myself that , I am using 1+

I remember selling my OnePlus 6 after 3 days because I found Oxygen-OS so boring and empty of options. Today I think that if I had to leave Samsung one day, it would be for OnePlus and its new Oxygen-OS.

@@arbitrarycnx2095 I never said that Oxygen-OS 13 is better than One-Ui 5, quite the contrary. I say it's the only interface I see myself using in the absence of One-Ui. And yes I hated the old Oxygen-OS, I hate Stock Android. I only know 1 of my customers (I'm a smartphone and accessories seller) who likes Oxygen-OS / Stock Android, all the others don't want to hear about it, which is why I no longer sell OnePlus or Pixel or other smartphones with Stock Android.
