Thanks, glad to see Stablo back. I’d seen it a few years back and signed up on their site so I could be notified when they got up and running, then the seemed to have disappeared so I made my own as best I could. Some of the original artwork showed using your sketch book, etc. at the “top” so the logo would be upside down at the “bottom.” If you push the cord in on the sides rather then under or over it that should work. That’s what is happening with this the ones at the top I believe. Thanks for sharing! Have a blast with it. Maybe give us an update in a few months or a year. How it’s worked for you, or maybe did you add/mod it at all to suit your needs/style? 🤔😎😁

Ohhh I didnt even know they released its prototype years back. Ive only first seen it in 2019. Its been well over a year now since I got it and can confirm that it works as intended. I’ve used it a lot of times and been bringing it with me when im outdoors. I didnt do any modification cause the set up as it is works for me. The placement of all the tools actually work. If there’s one thing i’ll add, I think it will be an insert for pens, like a tray with dividers or so but overall, it’s a great and sturdy easel!

The magnets under the wood are for your metal palettes.

Think the elastic cords are for holding your pages down in windy situations... but it depends on the format of your sketchbook. Works better with A5 Portrait orientation sketchbooks, cos then the cords would be at near the edges of the book and not get in the way of the painting.

The elastic cords are actually for holding tools like pen/brushes etc. I havent tried to use it to hold down the pages though.

What are your thoughts on the bump that is caused under your paper by the top layer of wood?

Does this have a polished or sealed surface so it won't warp?

Their site only shows euro prices. Didn’t dig deeper to see US dollar amounts.
@WhimsybyKelly2 жыл бұрын
There are plenty of currency converters available online. 1 Euro is about 1.05 US
