Dave Rastovich Meets His 11-Board Electric Acid Quiver [Excerpt]

11 flax-glassed crafts, eight months (and counting) of filming, and three film premieres later, this year’s psychedelic speed-date session has finally begun.
Starting last Thursday, 10/3, a new episode of the Electric Acid Surfboard Test with Dave Rastovich will drop every two weeks according to the following schedule. There will be four episodes total:
October 3rd: Episode One
October 17th: Episode Two
October 31st: Episode Three
November 14th: The Finale
In this series opener, Rasta rides board from four shapers: A “USB drive” Asym from Ventura’s young John Simon, an “Aladdin’s slipper” (in Dave’s words) from Australia’s Corey Graham, a “mullet” from another Ventura-ite, Fletcher Chouinard, and a board Dave liked - with a paint job he hated - from Santa Barbara’s Ryan Lovelace.
Also: The winner has just been decided, and filming has just barely wrapped. However, the editing for the final episode has not begun. Like kombucha, this is very much still a living, breathing project that will be unfolding before your Premium eyes.
The next episode of the Electric Acid Surfboard Test with Dave Rastovich is dropping on Thursday, October 17th at 5 PM PDT.

Can you explain why it doesnt make sense at all? Obviously it would let water flow off rather then hug the rail there. Assuming you understand that, why do you think it doesn't make sense? I'm sure youre a better surfer than john simon though and have put more thought into the hydrodynamics of that cut away
