i remember the Market on Saturday morning all the family together and buy things for the week, my dad had big buckets at the back of the van filled with ice to keep it cool, because at noon we went swimming in Pegasus hotel for the rest of the day and then drive back home to Land of Canaan the Lall place behind the black water Creek bridge, now is a petrol station on it,. Amazing improvements in Georgetown. We lived on the E.C. of Demerara, so we spent a lot of time shopping at Stabroek market. Every time I visited Guyana, I have to visit the market and also Mon Repose.

Back in the 60s I used to live in Almond street (now Lance Gibbs Street) the house before the AME church. Cross over new Garden and there was the cricket ground. Where did you use to live?
