Presbyterian schools around the country launched a joint effort to raise money for Tonga in response to the devastation caused by Tonga’s volcano and subsequent tsunami on Saturday 15 January.
St Andrew’s Head Sacristan, Sarah Anthony (Year 13), and the Community Service Leaders, under the creative guidance of Catering Manager, Russell Gray, worked to create 1176 chocolate Easter crosses. After chapel, in exchange for a donation, prefects and Community Service Leaders delivered a box of chocolate Easter crosses to every tutor group in the College, raising $944.20 for the appeal.
