Good video. Good to know the Core holster fits. Safariland has the dedicated Staccato P holsters out in the hands of some US Marshals teams now, not sure how soon they will be cranking them out for the public. We had to redesign a Nub Mod completely for said holster, as the lever is drastically different.

I'm using one of your 3D printed 1911 Nub Mods on the prototype in the video, it seems to work pretty well. Nub Mods are mandatory on all my ALS holsters.

I have this holster for my 5 inch M&p! I have a prodigy 5 inch and it doesn’t seem to go all the way in to lock in place but it could be due to the barrel plug hitting where the guide rod protrudes out. On a side note this holster also fits caniks

I got an email back from safariland early this week and they stated a dedicated safariland option for the Staccato P will be coming out early April this year.

@@Afrocow yeah you can go to their website and have it made. I’d assume you won’t be getting the holster anytime soon based on the way safariland is operating. I’d just go with the tier1concealed retention holster. That’s what I went with and it works perfectly fine.

Thanks for the m&p core holster recommendation Hilton. I got one for a 5" single stack .45 with rmr and x300u. The gun was originally non-railed but i had a caspian recon rail installed and i couldnt find anything that fit because of the rail is slightly thicker than standard railed dust covers. I had to use a heat gun to widen the holster near the muzzle and some dremel work on the als mechanism. After that it fits perfectly and locks in securely.

Staccato p 2020 fits in the trex arms tlr1 compatible glock holster with just adjusting screws.

I'm using a QVO tactical holster 2011 Secondary. Fits my P duo and XC duo. (With X300).

According to Safarilands website, A staccato C2 (no optic or red dot) should fit in an ALS 7377 7TS holster. Is that not accurate? Cause I just through the quick attachment on it for my drop leg holster and call it a day for my glocks. Looking for something like that for my C2. Just figured id do it ahead of time while its being made.

I’m not sure of the question here. The C2 fits in most of the holsters for the P much as a G26 fits in G17 rigs.

You could just use the 6390-1582 for the Staccato P 4.45" and remove the muzzle plug. You may also need to heat the end of the holster. Honestly haven't tried. I use the Blackhawk T Series holster for my XC, look in my other videos for a review of that.

If you're allowed open top, most guys are using the High Speed Gear Taco, which also let you run pretty much any mag in it. If you must use flap, look at stuff that fits a Glock 21 .45 cal as the mags are (sort of) similar width.

No, it's still incompatible with the most current 2011 specific 6390 RDS holsters and the Blackhawk T Series. I have basically withdrawn any consideration of the SRO as a duty optic based on holster fit issues and impact resistance.

Not a Safariland holster, but I just got a nice holster for my STI Staccato P from a company called Hammer Armament. I’m not affiliated with them in anyway. Just wanted to throw another option out there. They can make IWB and OWB holsters, ones with level 2 retention, etc. Best thing about them is their turn around time! I had my holster in hand within a week of ordering it! Anyways, if anyone is looking for a good holster for their STI, check them out.👍👍

Blackhawk Omnivore. Remove the belt attachment and replace with a Blackhawk duty belt attachment. Blackhawk will send you some longer screws that attach the duty belt attachment to the holster.

I may be placing a turd in the punch bowl/fly in the ointment. Anyway, I have a Colt Combat Unit with a Surefire X300U. Out of sheer holster desperation I broke down and bought a sheet of Kydex on eBay for 9 bucks and change and made my own holster. Got to admit that it came out nice. It's a fun project too.
