I have this same trimmer. I find that sliding the blade up Toward the edge at the top will cut the layers accurately all at once. They don't tend to slide that way. Also, I like to glue the pieces to a copy paper weight, or thin cardstock the same size as the originals, so I can emboss them, then I attach them to the card bases. Embossing helps to hide any irregularities, and gives it a subtle finished look behind embellishments. Love All of these cards, and the bonus!!

Thank you for watching! Yes, you can use your 6x6 paper! You will have to cut each piece at 4” x 5 1/4” before you stack and cut them. You can use those extra scrap pieces to make extra cards! Let me know if you have any other questions! Have fun!😊

What's the size of th original cut?

Do you mean the original panel size? If so, it’s 4 1/4” x 5 1/2”. The first cut after that is at 2 1/2”. I hope this helps! Please reach out if you need more info!
