Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

This sermon was about me! I was saved at 65, three years ago and so regret wasting all those years and still find it hard to believe God has forgiven all my sins. He called me by His Grace and still has plans for me. The devil is a liar and I am living proof. All praise be to our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ 🙏🏻🕊

The Lord rescued me and made me a new creature in Christ when I was 57. That was 8 years ago. I took am amazed everyday that He saved such a wretch like me. I keep learning more and more about Him everyday and share it often with my whole family. Praise God for our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!❤

How I tremble at the feebleness of my understanding of the unspeakable immensity of God's indescribable grace. Our ways are not His, and I know I am incapable of fully appreciating the extent of God's mercy, but I nevertheless pray that His Spirit will help me to grasp more every minute how great is His love.
