The Secret Power in Prayer! - Charles Spurgeon Sermons
Charles Haddon (C.H.) Spurgeon (June 19, 1834 January 31, 1892) was a British Reformed Baptist preacher who remains highly influential among Christians of different denominations, among whom he is still known as the "Prince of Preachers." In his lifetime, Spurgeon preached to around 10,000,000 people, often up to 10 times a week at different places. His sermons have been translated into many languages. Spurgeon was the pastor of the New Park Street Chapel in London for 38 years. In 1857, he started a charity organization called Spurgeon's which now works globally. He also founded Spurgeon's College, which was named after him after his death.
Spurgeon was a prolific author of many types of works including sermons, an autobiography, a commentary, books on prayer, a devotional, a magazine, and more. Many sermons were transcribed as he spoke and were translated into many languages during his lifetime. Arguably, no other author, Christian or otherwise, has more material in print than C.H. Spurgeon.

God refers to His Word as a sword in Hebrews 4:12. Here the Word is described as living and active and sharper than a double-edged sword. The Roman sword was commonly made in this manner. The fact that it had two edges made it easier to penetrate, as well as to cut in every way. The idea is that of piercing, or penetrating; the Word of God reaches the “heart,” the very center of action, and lays open the motives and feelings of those it touches.

today is February 11, 2020. Can you feel it..??? Listening to this sermon, while in my quest to understand my Father.and all the gifts he provides. It is sad for the 73-year-old, who looks back to see her wasted Christian life. When I placed Jesus on a shelf, only took him off, dusted him for Sunday worship, then returned him again. @@Psa141 There's three, God the Father (Word) ,God the son (Action) and God the Holy spirit (the result of the Word , Action) 1 x 1 = 1 Nobody comes to Jesus without the word as I've mentioned above. Jesus prayed to God, " through there words to me". Talking about his Apostles. I've also mentioned on my above comment, that while Peter spoke to them they received the Holy spirit. For them to keep it they need to practice it otherwise it will be like the sower which sowed the seed on the wayside it comes up and die. Paul said," the word I speak is not words of man but truly the word of God which work within you". The Word creates his son. The Way to salvation. God's son is not an image with long hair and blue eyes. In Japan people throw that image on the ground and step on it .Those images don't have faces anymore. To some this is bad but to me it just reveals the truth. Because no man can make a natural image of God. Paul thanked the community for receiving him as an angel and as Jesus Christ. Although a different body and face but the same spirit for Paul believed that he didn't live any more but Jesus lived in and through him. When they asked him to show the Father he replied, "you've been walking with me for so long and you ask me to show you the Father, If you have seen me you have seen the Father. This he ment his actions.

It's a supernatural intervention that I have shared with my wife, but I would like to share this supernatural power available to us as believers. As Charles is saying in this sermon, ask and you will receive. If you believe in the Trinity, I strongly suggest you call upon the Holly Spirit the next time you are stumped.
