Would love to see extra tips in vault as well. Always happy to see a midjourney video on new ideas from you thanks! I was trying to make kids labyrinth lol , it looked good but wasn't working out hehe, maybe with better prompts. Just with grayscale I could have lifetime content though.

Thanks so much for all your excellent videos on Midjourney and KDP, what I've seen so far has my head spinning. The one thing that's stopping me from buying a subscription to MJ is that I don't know how to make the small 72dpi images into a good enough resolution for KDP and print on demand platforms. I have seen people say that upscaling to 300dpi is possible, but in my experience doing so would reduce the size of the file to something that would only be good for small stickers. I would love to see a walkthrough of the technical side that shows the file being prepared for upload, such as formatting, upscaling, conversion to CMYK (if you do that) etc. Any pointers on how/whether we should credit AI in our KDP books would also be amazing. Thank you!
@StackinProfit Жыл бұрын
there's lots of different websites that you can use, here's one of them: clideo.com/dpi-converter and increasing DPI does not affect the size of the file

I'm very keen to see the formatting video as I am struggling with converting Midjourney images to be useable in Affinity/Photoshop. Do people still buy composition notebooks or is there just too much competition? I have sold medium content books on KDP but the composition notebooks I've uploaded have never sold.

Actually relaxed mode is just as fast. The only thing is that you cannot upscale in it and you have to switch to fast. I prefer experimenting in relax (not to worry about my fast hours) and then switching to fast if I like the result.

@@StackinProfit maybe it depends on the time of the day. I hardly see any difference.
@padkirsch Жыл бұрын
@@vladimir.zlokazov it's 100% about the time of day. Fast mode prioritizes you. Relaxed mode can be quite fast. But when load is a lot on the GPU's then it can take 4 to 10 minutes
@BlueGeckoLaser Жыл бұрын
That’s not correct. You can upscale in relax mode, I do it with every image, and I’m still at 100% of my fast time for the month so far.

@@BlueGeckoLaser you''re right! now it works like that. when I started with Midjourney last year it told me that upscaling isn't available in relax mode.

Do you know what DPI these end up? I make patterns and sell them on Etsy, but they have to be 300DPI and 3600x3600px. I'm wondering if there is a way to get that size in Midjourney or SD. Thanks!
@RipCurl808 Жыл бұрын
72 dpi at 512px Square (unless you do the aspect ratio) Beta upscale doubles it (72 dpi at 1024px square) You'll either have to vectirize it or use BigJpg or Photos hope, Topaz Denoise, or similar to increase dpi and enlarge.
@StackinProfit Жыл бұрын
I think they're 72 DPI but with a little formatting and using other websites then you can easily increase this to 300 DPI

but those patterns were not seamless. I can see the seams. when making patterns, people do them in squares, not rectangles for pattern match up. at least, that is the way I am being taught. animals get cut off at one edge and not seen on the other side.
