The wind really wasn't our friend, gusts made it difficult to balance over the ball, drives into the wind took 60 yards off them and even the downwind holes a lot of the greens had flags at the front so it was impossible to hold the ball on the greens, even with a high lob wedge with a lot of back spin. A really tricky golf day (but great fun and great company as always)

Wall was built in 1860. If you look in club house at chimney brest there are the markers from the firing range

I lost a £3.50 golf ball on the par 5 5th listening to Darren's (ex member) course knowledge and hitting it exactly where he told me too ..... but it did give us a laugh, I think the trees had grown over the past 20 years giving it a different perspective

I will say that the views are amazing and of course the weather conditions are the main challenge here. The last six holes are very different to the first 12 which are a bit up and down if that makes sense.

Really enjoyed this one guys, well done to you all. I thought Neil’s driver was going the same way as mine but great advice about bring persistent. I’m doing the same thing. Feel for Darren, but keep grinding mate. Nick maintains his good performance as always and Big Oggie’s putting I’d great too.
