You couldn't afford it, wait for my similar'affordable' developments announced in 2018. Latest chassis is being built now at a cost of under $1000, not a bad starting point. Imagine if one of these and a Caterham had a love child ....

"You couldn't afford it" is a slang term for it's damn expensive and usually out of reach for the average guy, not a literal, and certainly not meant to be demeaning.

Shock, I'm just disillusioned with what's happened to motor racing and it's availability to the average guy over the years. So I am doing something about it right now, and my question still stands about those Superutes or a vicious V8 pickup based special sliding around on off road tyres, and strong enough to have the occasional contact, which would you prefer to see? I didn't say $1000 btw, just pointing out the chassis has been completed at such a low cost, more to go of course.

As with some other comments, they should have at least one, maybe 2, dirt corners, no reason it couldn't be done.

We are a guest of Supercars at these events. It's their track and we run it as it's presented to us.

SST, thanks for your reply. That's a shame. Good luck with the series, i am over the moon watching some good racing again, just love it. I assure you I push it in social media on your behalf, surprised how many still don't know about it. Modern "Lets do what the manufacturers want and let them take turns to win and if a pidgeon shits on the track bring out a safety car" racing has driven a lot of people out of the stands. Are you a separate Aussie branch from the Founding American series, or all in one?
