Staffies are the best. My Staffie gave me 14 years of joy. They are funny, emotional, playfull, just a very easy personality but stubborn every once in a while. Amazing dog breed!!!

Staffies are THE finest breed of all for a variety of reasons. Firstly, you don't own them, they *own YOU!* Staffies adore their owners and they bond to you like superglue. They are highly intelligent, have lots of emotional intelligence- very good at judging people and their moods/frame of mind. They are very playful and full of fun- they love a game. They are very easy to train generally and fast learners. They are compact but extremely powerful- they will not knock cups off coffee tables and take up the entire settee or bed- which they will inevitably insist on getting on to be with you! They are clean dogs, nor do they moult hair all over your house like many breeds. They are athletic and full of energy. I always say, "There are dogs.......and then there are Staffordshire Bull terriers!" I've seen other breeds up close, and I'm yet to see a single breed that can match the Staffy for character, intelligence, fun and practicality. I'm on my third, a bitch called Stella, she's 12 years old and an absolute pleasure to own. Here she is having immense fun chasing a red dot- note the tenacity and iron will!
