Dear sir, you are highly appreciated. Your body language, speech, tempo and analysis, explanation all are outstanding.

great video as always. one thing to note is that NMC and LFP are for cathode, and LTO is for anode (to replace carbon). LTO still needs to pair with NMC or LFP

Thanks for the video, it was very interesting, now the differences between the battery types is much understandable, keep uploading such videos.

Very good content and in depth coverage of the subject, you have been able to condensed so much information in just in eight minutes. I have been watching so many videos on KZbin where the creators will produce hour length videos but are unable to convey so much knowledge in so little time. Keep it up, wished this would kind of become a guideline for posting content on KZbin.

Yes, that was very helpfull and interesting. I bought some 30 lto-cells with 40A capacity each, but still have NO idea how to charge and discharge them right. What are the voltages to do the not harm them ??? ;-(

There are a few factors to consider when charging and discharging lithium-ion battery cells. Our best recommendation is to consult the literature that came with the cells and stay within these parameters. We are glad you enjoyed the video!

Thanks for the insightful video Erik! For an EV use case, fast charging capability is becoming a pre-requisite these days. From what I understand, Cobalt chemistries (NMC, NCA etc) and LTO cells are well suited for 2C and above charging rates, but not so much for the LFP cells. Most datasheets I have seen of LFP cells (CATL, CALB, EVE etc) have Continuous charging rates between (0.5-1C) and Max charging rate of 1.5C (I am guessing this for pulse charging from regen braking) in some instances. So, does this mean we can't have fast charging capabilities in LFP EV batteries?

Lto is a different kind of anode while the rest are all cathodes.
