I’ve seen them done with these totes before but never incorporating the plastic. I love this idea. Thanks brother. About to get busy.
@RubenUrquiza19953 жыл бұрын
Thanks man, I’m glad you liked the idea. We have a couple without the plastic but it took a lot of the welded wire and this way you don’t have to use a lot, only front and back.

Gran video y una idea inteligente. Entonces, ¿usa las dos piezas de varillas de cada IBC para asegurar los corrales de ciervo en una línea para que sea más difícil que una tormenta de viento los derribe?
@RubenUrquiza19953 жыл бұрын
Gracias! No es necesario tenerlos en línea porque el viento no los tumba, nosotros nomas los tenemos así para que nos sirva como una cerca y para tener mas

I like the idea but how do they do in hotter months ?
@RubenUrquiza19953 жыл бұрын
Thanks, they do just fine. We first only had the front open but did experience them getting hot and some getting sick so that’s why we opened the back as well and now it has airflow and they do good.

Great idea if you can get the totes on the cheap......In my area they are $125 up.......I can build a 5' deep 4' wide by 5'high out of treated lumber with the hinges and latch for $110 and used tin on top. Very nice I would go this way if I could get the totes cheaper

Drill a couple of small vent holes on the top side of the solid sides for venting. All around nice pens, too bad IBC totes aren't easy to come by and cheap.

@RubenUrquiza19953 жыл бұрын
Gracias, Aquí en los Estados Unidos muchas compañías los regalan o los venden bien barato pero también los puedes encontrar en el mercado de Facebook pero ahí están un poco más caro

Nice set up. What breed are these chickens?, If I could make a suggestion, it would be a good idea to make a roof over the whole length to shelter from both sun and rain. And you can feed and water the birds and enjoy it too even when it's raining. I keep chickens in a few different colours, but have to keep most of them out of the sun, or they fade badly. And have to get them indoors in winter. Wish I had a big place as you do.,.....😀

this a great idea but in florida it gets super hot might not work
@RubenUrquiza19952 жыл бұрын
In Oklahoma it gets super hot too and we haven’t had a problem. That’s why I have the front and back side open so it can have ventilation but if you’re still a little worry you can just try it on a few stags to see how it works out for you, thanks for watching

I’m n Tampa Fl i like the idea . I think it’s to hot even if you had it n the shade here. It doesn’t take long for a bird to die of this heat
