Stage 2 Drumtochty Grampian Rally British Rally Championship (Moment) - Drivers Cut

Here we have another drivers cut of Stage 2 from the Grampian Rally. A very tough stage and not a good result for us; 9 seconds off the lead and not getting a good rhythm in the stage.

You should have lowered the voice of your codriver. It was sometimes hard to hear what you said. All in all, it was a good education. I envy you to drive in these narrow roads. Here in Sweden we mostly drive on much broader roads. Faster but not as fun.

Got you! I’ll have a look at doing that for the next one. Haha yeah, the roads are quite different in places but having a mix is the most fun!

Time again you mention your inexperience with the car on gravel, positioning on entry and braking zones. That will come with more drives on the loose stuff. You are never going to get that amount of dust on all rallies but if you do, you interpretation of notes (and further experience) will play a huge part? Second time on gravel on fwd rally car, I reckon you may be beating your self up a tad mate. Love the different viewpoints you give us on stages which are bound to be a learning curve for younger drivers - your'e doing really well.

Thank you for the positive comments, you’re definitely right but I think it’s the nature of the game; you’re always looking for better and better.. it is nice however to reflect on how far the development has come in only a couple years. I really appreciate the support so thank you!
