Firstly, hello from Australia and I love your videos! After watching this video I immediately ordered and then installed the full Acuity stage 2 kit which I drove for around 3 weeks. I've now pulled it apart again and removed the upgraded centering spring which I felt was actually *too* tight and left the rest (cable + base bushings, short shifter kit and upgraded rocker plate. One difference in my set up is that I also installed the Hybrid Racing detent springs at the same time that I did the cable bushings. IMO the gear shift tension and centering force feel perfect with this set up. Give it a go!

The nice thing about these kits is they are full customizable to everyone's taste. I know about the HR detent spring. I just haven't gotten around to doing it but thanks for sharing it with me. Are you planning on switching out to the full shifter kit in the future? Thanks for supporting my channel!

I feel like it's close to perfect the way it is now so I'm not sure if changing the entire assembly will mess with that formula. I'll definitely wait and see what Acuity comes out with though.

Yeah it would save a lot of time since you have to remove the charge pipe and all the other stuff.

great and fun video! You seem to mention this kit raises the shifter (knob) - is that the case?

With the short shifter adapter it comes with spacers that goes underneath the shifter base.

@@phothrottle Yes - I see that acuity describes lifting by 7.5 mm. It looks like yours is higher. Just my eyes tricking me - or did you also lift the knob up on the threads a bit? Hope I can someday get a Civic Si. Acuity will be one of my few mods.

They are Edirb seats from Bride Japan. They aren't seat covers haha
