Now this makes power equivalent to a Stock Skoda Rapid TDI. I have driven a TDI which I feel is quick even with that heavy weight but damn this swift with that much power would fly for sure. This is a damn rocket 100%.

I have the swift DDiS 1.3 in Ireland and they only made them from 2010-2013 and then they took the diesel swift off the market sadly, they're quite rare here most of them are all 1.2 petrols. Great video man 👌

Even we don't have the Swift Diesel here post 2019, in fact we don't have any diesel hatches in India anymore except for a Tata Altroz, we miss the diesel hatches ...

Just a question, what makes this car a stage 2? The different "stages" of tuning has always been confusing to me, especially when its used like in video games with set levels of modification which is mostly the case everywhere on the internet. As I understand it until you touch the "physical systems" that power the engine (induction, fuel system, valves, timing etc) its a stage 1? So what am I missing?

From my level of knowledge Stage 1 is just doing tweaks in ecu of the car by software Stage2 includes changing air filters, exhaust For stage 3-turbo upgrade

There's absolutely nothing which defines a "Stage". There's stupid Influencers on IG (most people know who I'm talking about lol) who say there's specific things that define a Stage tune. Not at all. Stage 1, Stage 2 and Stage 3 are totally arbitrarily decided. Some Stage 1 tunes have basic hardware changes and some Stage 2 tunes can be just software too. "Stage" doesn't necessarily have a hard and fast definition, it's just a term used to denote a package generally and makes it easier for the layperson to understand. That's all.

Stage 2 usually comes with Downpipe Free flow exhaust Stage 2 ecu or tcu tune Brake pads upgrade + rotor Tyre upgrade( eg mich ps4)

It's the same engine used in old Swifts. 2007-2011 models. This car is also using the same tech. The engine feel is same.

Every time we get in and drive - it was rewarding - last year my cousin send em the video of his catback exhaust and man ...it sounds soo good for a 4 cylinder ... We also did sound dampening as well so rides pretty refined ..but alas good things will come and go fast

My cousin upgraded the stock fgt with a vgt turbo from Suzuki itself, changes the injectors, custom air intake, cat back and custom remap ... It's more than 100 HP ... 250 plus torques....

lovely car in my opinion if you want a fun to drive daily driver. I just have one question, how has the owner integrated the sunshades under the door plastics, usually the roll containing the film is tighened to the topof the plastic door bit, but here I can see it has been integrated like OEM, just like you get in creta & seltos rear glasses. Is it possible to remap a Tata Vista(Quadrajet) to Stage 1? It has the same Multijet engine. Considering a Tata will the car be reliable if it is serviced regularly?

Just go to a tuner shop and ask these questions... They will clarify you better... But think twice before tuning it coz Tata cars are never stable at high speeds, I know coz I've driven a Tata Zest.

@@mobninja_ I live in a hill station. The first 2 gears are not so powerful like the rivals. I find it difficult to overrev the engine. The power delivery is very much linear. I want an aggressive power delivery in the first 3 gears. Thanks for your opinion 🙂

No doubt everything is good about this car. The shape, Engine and Interior. There is not a single thing you can point out. BUT i want to stay alive after if at all i met with an accident in Swift. Structural integrity of earlier Swift was much better that too up until 2014.

@@aidenparker498 it's Swift SPORT, it's not sold in India. It's sold internationally with good safety, 3 or 4 star in Euro NCAP. (Scoring stars in Euro NCAP is not easy like GNCAP)

Own one, or drive one for a good kms to understand yourself. Drive the first gen to feel the best. Show me a car in this price range with better handling and performance other than Ford figo ? You're gonna say about the Polo, well that's priced higher and tbh, the steering response is always better on Swift than Polo. (most reviewers including Mat Watson has also mentioned it in his reviews)
