1. Turn off shiftlock. It hurts you in the long run as the skill ceiling is lower. It’s like playing on controller while everyone else is playing on pc. 2. Try and find a nice spot to keep your mouse while you are trying to fight. Usually somewhere above your character if you’re facing straight ahead. 3. Sound cues are important. When fighting listen for the sound the opponent makes, it could be a counter which allows you to know when to kick. 4. Don’t be stationary. Always be moving no matter what. If you aren’t moving then the opponent could trap you in the circle of death. 5. Learn the circle of death. It is a move where you constantly circle around your opponent interlocking hooks so your opponent can’t fight back or move. While in this situation you can bait out counters or attacks from your opponent without them being able to fight back. This is most effective on people with smaller hook ranges than you.
