Stage Lottery #3 - Elimination Marble Race

stage types: BLUE: race (normal / don’t be last) Marbles must touch the green area to qualify, the last one to finish is eliminated. ORANGE: don’t touch [red] (don’t be first) Marbles must try to avoid the red area,touching the red region eliminates the marble touching it. All other marbles qualify. YELLOW: score (points) Marbles can touch the pink areas with a number to score points corresponding to the amount written, score at least 100 points to qualify. The last marble to score 100 points is eliminated. But there is 1 stage with an exception. The crane game: marbles have to touch the green area to go inside the crane with a certain number of spots. (the number of spots will reduce if more marbles qualify the stage) If the spots are full, the cranes will stop rotating and operate, the sum of the numbers on the boxes grabbed by the crane are the points that everyone inside the crane all gets. The last 3 marbles to score 100 points is eliminated. PURPLE: repechage (revive) This stage is only for marbles that are eliminated in previous stages, marbles have only 1 chance to be revived by touching the green area within the time limit. The number of possible revived marbles are not limited to just 1 (it could be no one or more than 1). no of stages: blue: 36 orange: 3 yellow: 5 purple: 5 *: The stages here are picked WITH REPLACEMENT, which means that the stages can be picked more than once.

I got confused with the label “INTERCHANGING” . I think the label “GRADIENT” would fit better, in my opinion, because they are a gradient from one color to another. I thought that “interchanging marbles” would be fading from one color to the other, and back again. (I can delete this comment if you want me to.)

I love the addition of the gradient marbles, they looks so satisfying! The stages look sick too, and I'm glad this got a third version. SPOILER ALERT WHEN YOU CLICK READ MORE! Even if I was rooting for the cyans the whole time, it's refreshing to see salmon win. They almost never win, and for a race with this many marbles, it's insane!

V2 stage selection looked better and gave a feeling of progress. Also the marbles didn't seem octagonal in V2 and rolled if I remember correctly (here they don't roll (apart from sometimes the rainbow lines one), they slide)

The colors look really cool, but the stage selection is so repetitive. In the 100-marble races, the appeal early on is watching the variety of stages. When those stages repeat, that appeal is gone. The only thing interesting at that point is watching the tense competitions further in, but those come so late.

Freakin, rainbow has some of the most ridiculous plot armor in history. All but one revival round that had at least one marble revived, had a rainbow marble as one of the revivals, some rainbows even got multiple shots after being eliminated. Couldn't kill the freakin things.
