Excuse me Miss... you’re tips are phenomenal! 🙌🏾 thank u so much for ur help. I’m a singer and have been performing live for about a year now, but I am extremely shy and still struggle with my confidence on stage. But you reminded me that I just have to relax and own it! 💯

I wrote your tips down and a little text came out, I tried to keep it in mind like singing-affirmations, thank you for your video it really helped❤ Step one, clear your mind Step two, shoulders back, don‘t be so shy Acknowledge the people, don't look to the sky, look them in the eye Take a moment to remember what it's all about It's about to make you move, to have a good time It's all about music and dancing But also keep in mind, that you’re the one they look at right now Enjoy it, have fun, don‘t let this moment rush away without giving the best you got Keep a smile on your lips, cause you’re where you want to be A smile on your lips, just a little, for us to have a good night

This may be kinda crazy to read. But I'm 6'5 , I love singing and dancing & I play guitar. I've studied Artist like Chris brown , Micheal Jackson, James brown , Prince , Beyonce etc. They're stage presence is unmatched. My thing is "Who wants to see a 6'5 ,200+ pound man dance & sing to r&b". Yea I know that sounds crazy but that's how I feel.
@Gcrimiel15 жыл бұрын
Satril X then use exactly that as what you do best. The guys you mentioned are all either small in stature or weight and that makes it easier to dance. You dont have to do flips to have stage presence, just use your tall nature to instill a strong presence to show the audience that you’re there. Thats what makes you different.
@SatrilRose5 жыл бұрын
@@Gcrimiel1 That's a great take on that ! I appreciate that thank you
@theperformingvoice88295 жыл бұрын
It's not really fair to compare yourself to them. There's only one you. Instead, channel their vibe and make it your own. It doesn't matter what you look like or what size you are. If you're confident and you're enjoying yourself, that's what counts. Who know's? You could create your own style and that's what you become known for. Just do you! Set yourself free.

OMG... I only wish I'd found your video YEARS ago. Btw, I think your very first suggestion was SUPER IMPORTANT. When you actually see how you look from the viewpoint of the audience, if you're like me, you will want to laugh! If I may add just one suggestion, it would be that "more is less." In other words, don't run around like a headless chicken, or wave your arms around aimlessly like you just flew into town. You can still move and emote, but if you run around the state too much, you'll just make people dizzy. God bless each and every one of you, and stay healthy.

But even though I've been at it so long I still get shy and struggle sometimes with performance anxiety. It's not really that uncommon for anyone whose performing to get that anxiety. But these tips are gold. So to any newbies,I definitely suggest listening to this lady and her tips.

These are incredible tips. I have had a terror of singing live. I had thrown myself into musical theatre as my voice felt average. Recently , I have had some significant breakthroughs after years of training. One thing that has never left me, however, is this fear of performing live. Thankfully, there are apps like Smule available where one may slowly grow more confident. Don’t get me wrong, it’s still terrifying, 😂 but at least I can showcase my talent and it reaches an audience. Baby steps, right? Thank you so much for this excellent video. It will greatly help with some performance struggles I’ve had.

Great, and from such a beautiful woman! Gave me needed support for my development of a busking rig, wireless guitar and wireless mic on a coathanger holder around my neck which leaves the face visible. I did this to smile and dance! Becoming bilingual in Spanish revealed high levels of repression the USA, due to WASP "Pilgrims" outlawing song and dance. Lucky that, after exterminating 60 Million brown skinned original inhabitants, they imported dark skinned people who still remembered song and dance. I hope every performing musician watches your great video!
