Stage 1 screening test narration and discussion. Most of the candidates appearing in ssb interview get screened out on the first day because dare confused about OIR , PPDT and narration and discussion of story. Please watch for absolute clarity on the subject .

True, in my 2nd attempt. My story did not match with anyone's story at all. I didn't push my story, instead contributed towards reaching a common group story. And I was screened in!

Aftern selecting theme we starts discussion on the points that can be included in common story .after this please tell how we select anyone from group for giving common story on behalf of group. Can we nominate other OR self and how? Thanks

Ideally others should select you . They will, if your contribution is good. Even if you are not selected to give the plan it’s fine as long as your contribution towards finalising the story. In case none is nominated and time s being wasted there s no harm in volunteering humbly with approval of all. In any case don’t give too much importance to this aspect.

It will depend on what instructions were given . Generally narration is done while sitting.

Sir , is it ideal to be an SF officer and be a sniper at the same time... as sniper is a self reliant and self sustaining job where as it contradicts the officers role (being the people manager and leader of the pack)

Officers are leaders but before that they are soldiers . So they themselves are better than what they expect from their juniors . But they have to see bigger picture set goals and get the job done. Hope that clarifies.
