The seats on these n250s in Preston are fitted loosely for some reason, it's the seats rattling not the bus

I live next door to a semi-retired Stagecoach driver. He retired in September 2020 but returned in March 2021 on a p/t basis (does 2 days a week at the moment, but plans to stop altogether in 2024). He says of the drivers in his local depot most like to drive a good Volvo bus or coach. Although the majority of the current fleet are Enviros from ADL. They have some Scanias which were acquired solely for the purpose of the Edinburgh route but these have been generally disappointing as they struggle on the inclines.

Once again notice the slack timing and amount of hanging about on bus journeys these days. No wonder people prefer their own transport and probably a lot less rattly too.

Couldn’t be further from the truth actually. I drive buses for a different company and day in day out me and other drivers get hit by lots of delays due to temporary lights and poor timings

Stagecoach are one of the few operator's that analyse journeys that are consistently either early and late and amend there timings , sometimes it's just timing points that need altering not end to end.
