I've gone through the worst kind of heart break imaginable. Because he was not an official bf or anything but real close friend.. and I've never had such long term, understanding friend after losing my childhood friend. I not only lost my self respect, or self esteem, i lost myself.. i lost everything I was. It's been more than 2 yrs n still not in stage 6. My childhood wounds are cut open and what hurts is that he probably never cared and took me as just another girl, and i was wasting my sincere emotions on it. Expecting it to last forever. Now he's gonna marry i can't believe how he can be so happy n not care about my pain at all. I hope he goes through the same pain, same lessons and learns what I have been through because of him. I hope he never finds happiness at least for years. Just how he wasted years of my life. N i really hope he becomes aware of his flaws, controlling nature n double facedness, n realises how horrible of a person he is.

Hey babe! Chin up. Just wanted to let you know that it's going to take some time but you will eventually find a way out of that hole. My boyfriend of 2 years broke up with me and two weeks later he got with my cousin and it killed me. I was hurt by two people whom I cared for very much. I hated the world and questioned why me for what seemed like forever forever. It took 1 year and a half for me to finally get over it. I even attempted suicide but after what I put my family and friends through and everyone thinking I went insane/crazy it just wasn't worth it. At times like these you just have to focus on taking care of your health, find your hobbies and passions. Do anything and everything for yourself even if you feel silly even if you have to do them alone. This is when you'll find your place in this world and meet a lot of awesome people. Reconnect with old friends you would be amazed by how many people who you thought you lost contact with has been missing or thinking of you. Take it one day at a time and don't rush yourself. My boyfriend and I broke up 3 days ago. We had been dating for over a year but were doing long distance since he went to study abroad for a year. So for 6 months, i worked my ass off to save up money to go see him during my spring break and I put 100% effort to text him, Skype, and just make time for him. So 2 weeks ago, I packed my bags, got on the plane and went to go visit him. I was so excited and the first couple of days together were great! but I found out he had kissed other girls while he was there and he was treating me so meanly...we ended up breaking up and now I'm back in my room and home...feeling so disappointed and stupid for putting so much effort into a relationship my ex didn't care about :( idk what to do...i know i should move on but I feel empty and sad. Just wanted to express my feelings. Has anyone gone through this before?
