My friend's father age of 72yrs old got stage 4 lung cancer.. the cancer is not spreaded anywhere else but in both lungs. The doctors gave up any kind of cancer treatment.. all together no treatment given but the termination has given that he will only be able to survive not more than a year. My question is as your suggestion that a stage 4 patient could live another few years what kind of treatment could an expert give? Because when I spoke to him he was so normal.. he said he wasn't coughing any blood but the doctor said look after him at home do everything he likes... almost terminated.. please kindly advise me what advice can I bring him?

Hi @cancer consult India thank you so much for the reply. I came to here he passed away. He died in April. Don't know how I missed your reply. Thanks anyway again. I will keep your number incase if I needed. I live in Europe. In july 2019 I had ovarian cancer which was found at last minute and had to go through a massive surgery.. 13.5 cm tumour in my ovaries. It was spreaded everywhere acept heart. 13 procedures been done. I had two acute cardiac arrests during the surgery. Kidneys stopped functioning, half been taken, half of my pancreas been taken, spleen been removed, gallbladder been removed, appendix been removed heart stopped, lungs collapsed, brain stopped functioning, blood clotted around palvis area and so much more.. and then my funeral was arranged in the church by pastor. But miraculously I started to breathe slowly.. I'm fine now.
