Interesting review. Just had a generous pour, bottom of the bottle of Stagg Jr, Batch 12, 132.3 proof. It knocked my socks off it was so delicious. Unfortunately, it's very hard to purchase in Ohio, but I did score a bottle of Jack Daniels SiB BP. I must says that it is also excellent. I decided to get an extra bottle, but it is no longer available in Ohio. Nothing else in my liquor cabinet compares to these two.

Bummer! Hopefully at least the Jack Daniel's comes back to shelves. Seems like looking for Stagg anywhere is a lost call. I really hope the JD Sib BP doesn't end up like that. Thanks for watching!

I think we're lucky in MN when it comes to JDSB BP...it's one of the few awesome ones that we seem to get, but a lot of people can't find.

It's a GREAT alternative...but that Coy Hill is AMAZING! But, if you can't get ahold of a pour of the Coy Hill the regular Sib BP holds it's own.

the stagg jr is woodier but the jack daniels is really good and oakey but sweeter.
