Thanks Miriam I like to meet other enthusiast like you. I have a fairly large collection of Dept56; Dickens and Christmas in the city Village pieces that I put together. I bought wooden canvases and have all the wiring underneath with lights coming from the bottom to line the streets And I fix them permanently. I painted the canvases white. there was a lot of drilling and electrical work but now I can put it up very quickly. I was just wondering if you ever light your village up. The wiring takes more time of course. Thanks

It is so good to meet you too! So the video you have met me on are pieces I make to sell on Etsy. So I just stage them so that folks who buy them can see how to use them. I have loads more videos of my Christmas village set up that shows how I light it up and hide my cords. My process sounds a little similar to your. I will send you a link of my most recent village series video.

Very nice! Those blips threw me off for a minute! 😂 Love the bridges. Since I use the Dickens pieces, I could probably fit 12 to 15, depending on the layout, since the are smaller. 🎄🎄

How do you remove hot glue from surfaces and accessories, when you do a take down?
@MiriamsManner3 ай бұрын
I just take my fingernail and scrape it off. If it is a little stubborn, I use a blade. Or usually comes off easily after the season. I only use a small dot.

Oh okay, I see. I didn’t understand what you were saying. It’s not about organizing, it’s that those fences were in my accessory bin. I thought I pulled the correct bin out but I didn’t and I didn’t feel like going and getting the other accessory and figurine bins out. They are behind other heavy bins. 🤣😂😀. What I could really use is a larger storage closet, I have to much Christmas village stuff. 😂
