For those of you who don’t know, the tiger had a 6 shot revolving mechanism with blank short shotgun cartridges it had a spontaneous ignition, this was a flaw with the mechanism sparks leaking into other chambers when fired.

from what i saw in the comment the tiger used shotgun cartriges and malfonctionned, resulting in an explosion of the tank, basically an explosion in the firing system
