Lyrics:
And you
Can bring me to my knees
Again
All the times
That I could beg you please
In vain
All the times
That I felt insecure
For you
And I leave
My burdens at the door
But I'm on the outside
I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside you're ugly
You're ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you
All the times
That I felt like this won't end
It's for you
And I taste
What I could never have
It was from you
All the times
That I've cried
My intentions
Full of pride
But I waste
More time than anyone
But I'm on the outside
And I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside you're ugly
You're ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you
All the times
That I've cried
All this wasted
It's all inside
And I feel
All this pain
Stuffed it down
It's back again
And I lie
Here in bed
All alone
I can't mend
But I feel
Tomorrow will be OK
But I'm on the outside
And I'm looking in
I can see through you
See your true colors
'Cause inside you're ugly
You're ugly like me
I can see through you
See to the real you

@41, there is something that I realized along the way which is hard to accept. We all make our own mistakes with our children, but we try to make sure they are not the same mistakes that our parents made with us. But that makes it cyclical, because you were present for those mistakes, and its what taught you to be you and be better.....in those ways. Your children will remember your mistakes and try to insulate their children from them. Unfortunately they did not experience YOUR parents mistakes made to you, and thus have a chance of making those with their own children.... and the cycle continues. Every generation has Light and Darkness. Every generation feels the decay, and the progress. We all made it since before people were people, don't forget the resilience of who 'WE' are, Everything is a teaching event, use them all to move forward and stop focusing on the pain of the past and what was behind. We all have to forgive, even,... or perhaps especially when forgiveness is not deserved. We don't forgive for them, we forgive for ourselves.

To all those that are lost. To all those that have nobody left, but themselves. To those that have been casted away, know this, you are not alone. Rock music is my therapy and medication for my depression and sadness. It takes me back to a time when I actually had happiness and everything was easier. I’ll forever come to all these old classic rock songs plus many more just for momentary relaxation. It’s like time travel if you will.

Rock will never die. Sure it's changed but the roots are still audible and there are and have been many good bands to keep the sound rolling on. You have to remember that people change also, taste changes and they/we/you and I tune in to different sounds. I'm 60 so I also had the pleasure of growing up and living through two great decades with the seventies and eighties but I still hear good solid rock coming through. If it hadn't of changed in forty years it would have lost a huge audience but now depending on age we can go back and relive it, or be young enough to be listening for the first time. The fact that new bands are still influenced by a past age is enough. If they were simply carbon copies they'd be criticised. It's still rock music and we still love them for doing it and for keeping our memories alive.

After i cut off those individuals everything is getting better. I am able to smile, laugh, and be in my divine feminine energy. MEMORY: listening to this song over and over after my wife left my daughters and me...Rough years. I got past it- all three of us healed (as best as we could)... and we are healing still. The fact that i can listen to this without cringing any more is a victory....

2001... Reunited with my Mother after 11yrs of being isolated from her. My mother always loved this band after I introduced it too her... I can still hear her voice singing this song with no care in the world... But pure love. Unfortunately my mother was taken away from me later that year. She is my hero for saving a young woman's life and risking her very own. Please people spend time with quality family and friends and loved one's before it's too late. This songs for you Mom 💞

U know you're feeling upset, dealing with loneliness, or facing challenges in your relationships or the damn daily routine. Whatever it may be, IS just to Sit down, put on your headphones, turn up the volume, and Sink in the deepness of yourself with the beautiful echoes of the singer's voice. i swear It's more than just a melody ! >>> it's a solace. Your problems won't magically disappear, but you might find that, for a moment, they feel more lighter

Being in high school in the early 2000s, you just don’t know how impactful this music is, unless you were there when it was brand new. So many memories, so many people that I knew that are no longer a part of my life, it’s such an amazing connection that music can have on you with the past. I love that place, I love those memories, I feel so fortunate that they are mine to have for the rest of my life.
